Osborne Bridge to be closed for work on Thursday

The City of Winnipeg is giving motorists a heads-up that a busy roadway will be closed for much of the day, today.

In an online post, the City says that the Osborne Bridge will be closed in all directions between Granite Way and Osborne Street on Thursday, September 5, 2024.

Construction taking place on the bridge is responsible for the closure.

The City says that lanes in both directions will be opened for the morning and afternoon rush hours, but otherwise to expect complete closures throughout the day.

Motorists are advised to expect delays in the area and plan alternate routes.
