June 7th, 1951 - July 6th, 2024
Born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Kenneth Lawrence Steen, beloved father, brother, husband and partner, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family Saturday, July 6th, 2024, at the age of 73.
Ken was a man of many talents and passions, with a particular love of fishing. His favourite spot was Big Bar Lake, where he spent countless hours enjoying the tranquility of water and the thrill of the catch. The serene beauty of Big Bar Lake was his sanctuary, a place where he felt most at peace. Whether it was in the early mornings with the mist rising off the late, or the quiet afternoons under the sun, Ken found immense joy in those moments.
Ken's memory will be treasured by all who knew him, his legacy of kindness and zest for life will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.
Ken was predeceased by his second wife, Margaret Steen, His Mother and Father, Beth and Lawrence Steen. Their memories lived on in Ken's heart, and he carried their love with him throughout his life.
Ken is survived by his only son, Mark, sister Kathy Steen, his brother Thomas Steen, his wife Liz and their family. Ken is also survived by his final partner, Wendy Kyle.
A Celebration of Life for Kenneth Lawrence Steen will be held Sunday, September 29th, 2024, 2pm - 4pm at the Moose Jaw Wildlife Federation Hall.
