The Weyburn Chamber of Commerce is getting ready for its annual Ag Appreciation Night and has opened up nominations for the Golden Sheaf Award. The event has been held annually since 1994, with the exception of 2020.
The Golden Sheaf Award honours those in the ag industry who are community-minded, community-driven, and make contributions to the industry. Some of the past recipients of the award include the Ashworth family last year, Southampton Farms in 2022, and Halloway Ag Corporation in 2021.
The deadline for the award nominations is October 18th. Nomination forms can be downloaded from the Weyburn Chamber of Commerce website. Copies can also be picked up at the Chamber of Commerce office.
Ag Appreciation Night will be held on November 5th at McKenna Hall in Weyburn. To purchase tickets, you can visit the Chamber website or call the office at 306-842-4738.
