Alberta RCMP investigate O’Chiese First Nation homicide

On Aug. 30, the Rocky Mountain House RCMP received a report of a body in a field. 

When police arrived on scene, a  deceased person was found in a field with injuries. 

The deceased has been identified as a 21-year-old male resident of O'Chiese First Nation. They were transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

The death has been deemed as a homicide.

The Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit have taken over the investigation.
