The Okotoks Oilers have listed a few more names to their roster this year, with one of them being new to Okotoks.
18-year-old Brayden Duy is one of the new defencemen with the Green and Gold and hails from St. Louis, Missouri.
Last season, Duy played for the St. Louis AAA Blues 18U, where he got 4 goals and 3 assists in the 14 games he played for them.
Duy will be playing for Lindenwood University in Missouri for the 2025-2026 season.
Forward Jackson Rowland will be returning to don the Okotoks Oilers jersey again this season.
Rowland played 17 regular season and 10 playoff games for the Oilers in the first season with the BCHL, and got 7 goals and 13 assists.
The third name the Oilers announced as part of the team's roster on September 4th was forward Brett Wilson.
This is Wilson's third season wearing the Green and Gold, and last year he played 20 regular season games and 10 playoff games, tallying 10 goals and 10 assists.
Wilson has committed to playing for Bemidji State University.
The Okotoks Oilers will face the Sherwood Park Crusaders and Cranbrook Bucks in exhibition games at Viking Rentals Centre on September 7th and 14th.
