A travelling exhibit will be touching down in Humboldt beginning today.

Ace Academy: Flight Experience, produced by the Canada Aviation and Space Museum, will be at the Humboldt and District Museum from September 5-November 14.

It’s sponsored by HSA Chartered Professional Accountants with support from the Friends of the Museum and Gallery.

Ace Academy is a digital interactive exhibition space where players enter an immersive environment and activate the intuitive experience by simply moving their bodies.

Players will be able to fly a realistic rendering of the Canada Aviation and Space Museum’s Sopwith Ship Camel biplane with authentic aircraft imagery.

By moving their arms up and down and tilting their bodies, individuals maneuver an airplane on screen – dodging enemy aircraft and aligning themselves to fire.

This exhibit is open to any age and admission is free.
