For the second time this week, dense fog has arrived in Estevan and motorists are staying on high alert.

This comes after wildfire smoke turned the skies orange yesterday and fog kicked off the first day of classes on Tuesday. Environment Canada has not placed any advisories in the area yet. Visibility for motorists has been cut significantly, with drivers only seeing about 2-3 seconds ahead of them. The Estevan Bypass and highways around the city were near-zero visibility.

According to the forecast, the fog should dissipate later this morning. Sunny skies are expected for the rest of the week. Keep an eye out for the weather page on DiscoverEstevan for up-to-date weather information.
