The winning entries from the 56th Annual Labour Day Parade have been announced.
A panel of judges consisting of Ginny Winter, Brian Winter and Dan Kroffat chose several winners from the massive 45-minute parade which featured numerous floats, horses and at least 300 people on foot.

The Best Overall Float was awarded to Al Azhar Shriners, while the Most Creative Float went to Sleeping Giants Theatre Society. Rocky View Brewing Company won Best Corporate Float, and Co-West Cochrane Girl Guides took Best Non-Profit.
The Cochrane Lions Rodeo Queen & visiting royalty were recognized as the Best Horse Mounted Group, and the Most Entertaining award went to the Calgary Stampede.
Winners were awarded a $100 donation to the charity of their choice.
