A 19 year old Morden man has been charged with a variety of drug and weapons related offences after a search warrant was executed Labour Day Monday.
According to a news release issued by Morden Police, on Monday, as part of an ongoing investigation, officers along with the Regional Support Tactical Team, executed the search warrant at a residence in the city. Once inside, police found the suspect, arrested him and transported him to the Morden Police Service building.
A search of the residence led to Cocaine, Methamphetamine, a digital scale, over 1,000 unused baggies, cash and other drug related paraphernalia being located. Also found were a replica handgun, a “butterfly” knife, a homemade .22 caliber firearm commonly referred to as a “Zip gun” and ammunition.

The accused was remanded into custody to appear in Winnipeg Provincial Court.
