On Sunday, September 8th, automobiles of all makes and models will be joining together to raise funds for the Winkler Bible Camp (WBC), in a fundraising cruise and car show called "Cruiz for Kidz". This event, which began last year through the collaboration of local car enthusiast Chomper Giesbrecht, and WBC Director Dale Wiebe, is an effort to directly help families who otherwise would not be able to send their children to summer camp.
Chomper Giesbrecht stopped by our Golden West studio in Winkler, and spoke with Eagle 93.5 Morning Show Host Jayme Giesbrecht. (Who is also his daughter).
The Cruise will get underway at 10 am, followed by a Car Show, food, and activities for all ages, including a bouncy house! No pre-registration necessary, simply show up with your vehicle, and join in the effort to make a big difference.
