Heaven Can Wait Animal Rescue was a dream of Kim Hessel that became a reality years ago.
Kim has always had a love for animals, when I saw her one day feeding kittens at a dumpster in Calgary, I knew this lady was special.
As that encounter went on, I found out Kim not only worked with me but lived in my town, High River.
Kim established her home as a rescue for animals which led to a storefront in our community all because of her love for animals.
The commitment she has given to animals through the years has not gone unnoticed.
Kim was nominated and chosen as our 99.7 Sun Country Half Grand Helping Hand recipient recently and continues to have a passion for all animals that are in distress.
Kim was nominated by Kristin Davenport for her remarkable vision and 25 years of dedicated work with Heaven Can Wait Animal Rescue.
Kim's passion for animals has not only fueled her vision, but also contributed to the continuous success of the HCW South and West of High River.
