Midale's own Keely Shaw completes Paralympic campaign

The Paralympic journey for Midale’s Keely Shaw is over, for this year.  

Early this morning, just after 1 a.m., she took part in the Women’s C4-C5 individual road race, on the Clichy-Sous-Bois course. Shaw would finish the gruelling 70-kilometre race in a time of 2:09:28, finishing 15th. This was the final event of the Paralympics for Shaw after having competed in the Women’s C4 500m time trial, the Women’s C4 individual time trial on the road course, and the Women’s C4 3000m pursuit, where she won bronze.  

This was the second Paralympics for Shaw, who also claimed bronze in the 3000m pursuit at the Tokyo Games in 2021.
