Additional photos of Elijah Blake Strawberry and his most prominent tattoos have been released by the Alberta RCMP to assist in the manhunt for the murder suspect.
The RCMP have also extended the timeframe of its $10,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
It has been a month since the search for Strawberry began. He is a suspect in the Aug. 6 shooting death of Colin John Hough, 45, of Airdrie. On Aug. 13, 35-year-old Arthur Wayne Penner was charged with first-degree murder and attempted murder of a Fortis employee.
In an update today, RCMP stated they continue to have a team of investigators searching for Strawberry. Earlier this week, they were in the Red Deer area to follow up on leads. Searches conducted in several areas were unsuccessful.
"We remain confident that Strawberry remains in Alberta and ask Albertans to remain vigilant," states the release issued by Cpl. Troy Savinkoff, RCMP public information officer.
The Alberta RCMP has extended the time frame for its $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the 28-year-old after the original deadline passed on Aug. 30.
