Alberta RCMP are still looking for a suspect in connection to a shooting in Rocky View County in August.

On August 6th, a Rocky View County employee and a Fortis Alberta employee were shot. The Rocky View County employee was killed, while the Fortis employee was left with injuries.

One of the two people suspected to be connected to the shooting was arrested and charged by Alberta RCMP on August 11th, and they've been working to locate the second suspect, 28-year-old Elijah Blake Strawberry, since then.

RCMP have charged Edmonton resident 35-year-old Arthur Wayne Penner with the first-degree-murder of Airdrie resident Colin John Hough as well as attempted murder of another individual.

Strawberry is considered armed and dangerous. If seen do not approach, dial 911 immediately.

Last week the investigative team as well as other support units were in the Red Deer area following up on investigational leads. RCMP conducted searches of several locations without success. RCMP remain confident that Strawberry remains in Alberta and ask Albertans to remain vigilant.

The Alberta RCMP has extended the time frame for their $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Elijah Blake Strawberry.

Any person or persons having information regarding Elijah Blake Strawberry are asked to communicate that information immediately to the Strathmore RCMP at 403-934-3535 or call 911.

Any tips received from the public will be actively investigated.

Elijah Strawberry is described as:

- Light complexion;
- 6 feet 1 inch tall;
- 169 pounds;
- Brown Hair;
- Several Tattoos.

The most recognizable of these tattoos include: “Trust” on left hand, “Honour and Loyalty” on right hand, X’s and cobweb on right forehead, geometric lines on left neck and face that extend onto his forehead.
