Cochrane Culture Days organizer Jane Kaczmer continued to combine her love of the community with two special days to celebrate Cochrane's robust cultural scene.

While the emphasis was on presenting different forms of music, it also included a tipi raising in the greenspace adjacent to The Station Park by Wazin Îchinabi Ti (House of Oneness). Inside was a display of Indigenous art.

For the enjoyment of youth, Balloons and Butterflies twister balloons and kids could have their faces painted by Imagine That YYC Face Painting.

Day One was held in conjunction with the Cochrane Farmers' Market, then it headed downtown on Sunday to join forces with the annual Colours of Fall Show & Shine, organized by the Cochrane Classic Cars Club.

"I think it's important to bring the enjoyment and the fun and remind people that we have a lot of arts and culture here to learn about and what opportunities are out there."

Saturday's performers were the Mînî Thnî Dancers, the Celtic band Drowsy Maggies, Midnight Taiko (Japanese drums) and a demonstration by Ga-On Taekwondo at 1. Downtown Sunday, Westwinds Summer Jazz, the Cochrane Pipe Band, Six By Six, Fig Fusion, Melodic Mix, and the Canmore Traditional Jazz Band performed on the Centennial Plaza stage.
