McGillivray in the morning moments

It's amazing what a second look will generate for you when out on the road. I was country cruisin' when I spotted this bird on a fence line. Normally unless it's a hawk or eagle, I might just keep cruisin'. But after a second glance at this one, it was worth stopping and getting a photo.

Its hunt was over and mine was just beginning, it had lunch in its beak and was protecting it like there's no tomorrow.
