107.5 Bolt FM had the pleasure of visiting the Wuchner farm for Week 4 of Meal in the Field. The Wuchner family, with roots dating back to 1911, continues to cultivate the land with dedication and pride.
When asked about the current harvest, Warren Wuchner shared, "We’re about 30% done, and it’s been fairly smooth sailing with good weather."
This year, the Wuchners are harvesting their usual crops—wheat, canola, and soft wheat, a tradition that reflects over a century of farming expertise.
As part of the Meal in the Field event, the Wuchners expressed their gratitude for the support from their sponsors.
Lee Wuchner took a moment to thank Hergott Farm Equipment, FCC, South 20, Boston Pizza, and Horizon Fertilizer for their generous contributions to the event.
Warren also extended thanks to their neighbors, who nominated them for the special recognition. The strong sense of community and support is evident on the Wuchner farm, where the bonds between neighbors and local businesses continue to thrive.
