Cochrane Farmers Market Saturday, September 14th
Market by the Bow from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. includes Blue Eye Wood Design, Baba's Breads and Baking, Cookies by Jen, and Lucky Dog Treats. Parking at the SLS Centre and admission is always free.
Cochrane Terry Fox Run Sunday, September 15th
Registration starts at 9 a.m. at Mitford Park - 201 West Rock Road. You can run, walk, bike, or rollerblade 2km, 5km, or 10km. All money raised will go to The Terry Fox Foundation.
Cochrane Plant Sale Sunday, September 15th
The semiannual plant sale fundraiser of the Cochrane & District Horticultural Society is being held this coming Sunday, Sept. 15 in front of the Cochrane Public Library, 405 Railway St. W. The sale runs from 1 to 3 p.m., and it's wise to show up early.
Cochrane Legion Show Saturday, September 15th
If you see army vehicles rolling through Cochrane tomorrow, don't be alarmed. It's all part of the annual celebration at the local Legion branch for National Legion Week. The fourth annual show will have military vehicles and a large locomotive on display. One of the cannons will be fired at 10 a.m. tomorrow to officially open the show.
Kelly Carson Memorial Golf Tournament Monday, September 16th
You can honour the memory of Kelly Carson, beloved former Cochrane Chamber Executive Director, Monday. The tournament will happen at the Cochrane Golf Club with registration at 10:30 a.m. If golf isn't your game, you can still join in on the fun with a round of mini-putt.
