Powerline installation planned for High River's Centre Street North

Underground powerline installation will be taking place along Centre Street North in High River for over a week.

Fortis crews will be working along the shoulder of Centre Street from September 13-24.

While minor interruptions to traffic are anticipated, no detours are planned.

Traffic lights will be out while the work is underway, making the roadway less lit than usual.

Due to this, the Town is asking drivers to use extra caution in the area, including watching for signage, workers, and equipment.
