The Simpora Foundation's second annual Rubber Duck Race & Family Carnival was held on Saturday (Sept. 15).

Families lined the banks of the Sheep River to watch 1,500 rubber ducks race from the Sheep River Bridge to the Laurie Boyd Bridge.

The Family Carnival was held at the nearby Arts & Learning Campus and included carnival games and activities, food trucks, and a dunk tank featuring local celebrities.

It all served as a fundraiser for the Simpora Foundation, a non-profit which provides financial donations to local teams and athletes in return for kindness projects that the athlete or team carries out in the community.
