Few details released on Midale train incident

Few details have been made available after an incident in Midale on the weekend involving a pedestrian and a train. 

The RCMP reported shortly before 1:30 a.m. Saturday morning the rail crossings at Highway 606 and Highway 702 were closed after an incident involving a train along the CPKC line. Further details released later from CPKC stated the incident involved a train making contact with a person near the intersection of Highway 606 and Railway Avenue in Midale.

No further details have been released at this time, including the seriousness of any injuries, or the age the gender of the pedestrian.
