Cochrane north residents have a few days to prepare for the upcoming Helping Hands food drive.
Volunteers will be making their rounds in Sunset Ridge, Cochrane Heights, Sunterra, Monterra and Western Rocky View County on Saturday, collecting food donations for the Cochrane food bank.
Food Security Programs Manager with the Helping Hands Society of Cochrane & Area, April Baird said they understand that money is tight for a lot of people and they appreciate each and every donation.
"We're not asking anybody to put themselves out and we're not asking for a lot. Even a can of soup or a box of Kraft Dinner, anything helps."
