Three non-profits in the area could benefit from waiting until tomorrow to fill up their gas tanks, so anyone who happens to be low on fuel today, or could soon squeeze a bit more into their gas tank soon, may want to hold off until Fuel Good Day, which is happening tomorrow, September 17th at Prairie Sky Co-op's gas bars in Weyburn, Milestone, Lang, and Beaubier.

"I've been driving around with a pretty low tank for a few days just to make sure that I can fuel up with as many leaders as possible so that I can give back to our community," shared Member Relations Manager Danielle Knoll.

"If you fill up at any Prairie Sky Co-op location, we are giving 10 cents per litre sold tomorrow back to the community," she explained.

"This year we have three organizations that we are donating to, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Weyburn, the Milestone and Rural Volunteer Fire Department, as well as the Southeast Regional Library's Lake Alma branch."

Knoll said there is a special incentive happening for Fuel Good Day at the two gas bars in Weyburn, Crossroads at the intersection of Highway 39 and Highway 13, and 'Suds City', at 1794 First Avenue.

"If you're filling up at Suds City, we do have a lunch special going on there at our chicken department, so you'll want to stop by and check that out as well," she noted. "For Crossroads and Suds City, if you fuel up, you'll also get a free iced coffee."

She said the annual event usually brings in more customers, so it will be 'all hands on deck' at all their locations.

"Also keep a lookout for some of the members of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Weyburn. They'll be out and about tomorrow, trying to remind everybody to fuel up."
