A Ferrari was pulled over after they were clocked at 174 km/h in Foothills County on the weekend.

Alberta RCMP shared information on the incident on their Facebook page on Monday morning (Sept 16).

According to the post, the driver was "excessively speeding and driving recklessly."

The RCMP are using the incident as a reminder that speeding endangers the lives of everyone on the road.

In Alberta, drivers caught speeding more than 50 km/h over the speed limit face a mandatory court appearance, where a judge determines fines and other potential penalties.
