This Saturday from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, The Property Brokers are hosting their first-ever Property Brokers Open—an exciting multi-home open house event across Winkler and Morden. Tim Friesen and Wes Harder of The Property Brokers invite the public to explore nine homes while enjoying a fun afternoon filled with prizes, giveaways, and community spirit.

Unlike a typical open house event, the Property Brokers Open features multiple homes at once, allowing visitors to explore a variety of properties in one afternoon. The idea behind the event? It’s about more than just real estate. It’s about connecting with the community.

“We’ve been thinking about this for a little while now,” explained Tim Friesen. “A whole group of people love looking at houses, even if they aren’t in the market to buy right away. We see it all the time—people going on our website, and social media, and checking out our new listings. They just love seeing homes, and we wanted to create something that would bring that excitement to life.”

Inspired by Winnipeg’s Parade of Homes, the Property Brokers Open offers locals the chance to tour a variety of homes—from new builds to pre-owned properties—in one afternoon. “It’s really about giving people a glimpse into the local market in a fun, accessible way,” Friesen added. “Whether you’re actively looking to buy or you just love browsing homes, this is a perfect opportunity to get out, meet people, and see what’s available.”

Wes Harder emphasized the variety of properties that will be showcased. “We’ve got homes ranging from around $300K to $500K, everything from single-family detached homes to condos and attached homes. It’s a mixed bag on purpose—we want people to see different options, not just nine versions of the same home.”

More than just an open house event, the Property Brokers Open aims to foster community spirit. “We want people to come out with their friends, with their families—make it a date!” said Friesen. “We’ve planned giveaways and prizes, including a grand prize Blackstone Grill. The more properties you visit, the more chances you have to win.”

For Friesen and Harder, it’s about more than selling houses. “At the end of the day, we’re in the people business,” Harder said. “We happen to work in real estate, but our goal is always to connect with people, take the stress out of home buying, and make the experience fun. This event is just one more way we can engage with our community and show our appreciation.”

Whether you’re in the market for a home or just want to see the latest trends, the Property Brokers Open promises to be a fun and engaging event. The more homes you visit, the more chances you’ll have to win great prizes. For details on the featured homes and how to participate, visit their website and mark your calendars for this Saturday!
