Tornado's Restaurant & Lounge has been vandalized for the second time in just a matter of weeks. The restaurant's windows have been smashed again, just like what happened over August Long Weekend.

Owner, Jan Verwey, shared her frustration with the situation in a statement to PortageOnline.

"This is the second window to be broken in the last month and a half. It's very frustrating and disheartening. We all work hard for what we have, and when someone makes the decision to vandalize or steal, they don't realize the time and money it takes to make it right again. Or they just don't care. And I acknowledge that's more likely the case," continued the statement from Tornado's Restaurant. "It's the vandalism and break ins that happen under the cloak of darkness, when there is less chance of getting caught. It's noticeable when driving late at night how many people are out dressed in dark clothes, hoods and facemasks. We all know it's there and happening; it's just hard to catch it and make it stop."

Verwey did not note how long it will take them to restore the window.

This isn't the only problem that Tornado's has faced lately; sharing on social media last week an issue with counterfeit currency.
