It will be another busy weekend for the Town of Blackfalds as the 2024 Culture Days will be happening.
The event which kicked off on Saturday, September 14th with a Miniature Figure Paint-A-Thon, will run until Saturday, September 28th.
Friday night will feature a 50+ free skate. It's a chance to hit the ice and get some exercise at the Eagle Builders Centre Arena.
That night will also feature a community drive-in movie. Get in your vehicle and head over to Sterling Industries Sports Park (4800 Leung Street) for dinner and the movie. Food trucks will be on site until 9 pm followed by a showing of Monsters Inc. The movie night proceeds will support the FCSS Back to School program. Gates open at 6 pm, movie starts at 7:30 pm.
On Saturday, September 28th the Blackfalds Ag Society will be hosting a 40th Anniversary free BBQ. The Ag Society has played a vital role in the growth and support of the community. The BBQ will run from 12 noon-4 pm at the Abbey Centre Amphitheatre.
