Residents of Penhold and surrounding area will get a chance to share their concerns with local RCMP.

The Innisfail RCMP and the Town of Penhold, will be holding a Town Hall meeting on October 9 at 6:30 p.m., at the Penhold Library in the multiplex.

“The Innisfail RCMP are excited to extend an invitation to the community for the upcoming town hall. Town halls have been an excellent way of not only sharing our information with the community but also receiving that firsthand feedback from the community.”, says Staff Sgt. Ian Ihme, Detachment Commander Innisfail RCMP.  “The Innisfail RCMP is committed to citizen engagement and in forming strong partnerships with the community”.

There will be presentations from:

  • RCMP policing priorities and crime stats;
  • Community Peace Officer program and Penhold Fire service;
  • Update on the new Regional Victim Services model;
  • Penhold Citizen’s on Patrol Program.

 There will be an open mic for citizens to ask any questions regarding any of these program areas.
