Fiona Gilbert re-elected school board chair

Ward 6 trustee Fiona Gilbert, of Cochrane, was re-elected chair of the RVS board of trustees at today's (Sept. 19) organizational meeting.

Gilbert is in her second consecutive year in the chair and served in the position three years previous. She is her third term on the board and first elected in 2013.

The board also re-elected Ward 5 Trustee Judy Hunter as vice-chair. She's in her second term on the board. 

Board committee appointments were also made at the annual organizational meeting.
