Made In Manitoba singer Jordan Janzen has just released a unique music video for his song "Kindness," with a twist that highlights both fan participation and community support.
A few months ago, Janzen teamed up with friend and fellow artist Jon Steingard to brainstorm creative ideas for the video. Steingard came up with the concept of having the audience film the performance at a live show using their phones, aiming to create an intimate and personal feel.

Their hometown show at the Winkler Harvest Festival seemed like the perfect setting for the experiment, though they were initially worried that fans might feel uncomfortable filming for an entire song. To ensure they had enough footage, Janzen even asked some family and friends to film the performance.
But the response exceeded expectations. "We ended up with over 300 videos to work with," Janzen shared in a recent social media post. The final result is a music video that captures the essence of "Kindness" from multiple perspectives, blending professional and fan-filmed footage.
Janzen expressed gratitude to everyone involved, calling the video "another reflection of the support we’ve felt from within our community after all these years of making music."
