GRAHAM, Timothy William

May 10, 1948 – September 18, 2024

 

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Tim Graham on September 18, 2024, at the age of 76.

Tim was predeceased by his parents; Bill and Kay Graham, in-laws; Jim and Irma Plosz, brothers; Patrick, Dan and Johnny, and brothers-in-law; Peter and Terry.

Tim is survived by his loving wife of 50 years; Cathy, his children; Keane (Carrie), Brett (Marissa) and Lara, and grandchildren; Skyla and Anaka, Logan and Norah. He leaves behind numerous family members: sister-in-law; Carol, siblings; Cel (Albert), Rita (Don), Maureen, Joan (Tom), Rose (Rob), Eileen (Lyle), Fran (Bill), Louis (Connie), brother-in-law; David (Joan), sisters-in-law; Jane, Anna Marie, Lisa (Alex) and numerous nieces and nephews.

 

Tim had a happy childhood growing up in Moose Jaw with his loving family. He attended River View Collegiate and continued his education at the University of Saskatchewan.

 

Tim met Cathy during university days in 1970. They were married in 1974 and were delighted to raise their three children. He always loved camping at the many lakes in Saskatchewan and Alberta. When the boys joined Boy Scouts, he volunteered and became a scout leader for many years. He loved fishing, golfing and canoeing with his boys on many trips. He also enjoyed hiking and swimming with Lara.

 

Tim began his accounting career with Deloitte, Haskins and Sells and later joined Meyers Norris and Penny where he spent the majority of his 38-year career. Even in retirement he continued to work with several of his clients.

Tim enjoyed travelling with Cathy creating many adventures. From Amtrak Train trips to road trips through the states, they explored many sites.

 

He enjoyed their time in Mexico walking along the beach and the Malecon. He always brought a little bit of home with him cheering on the Saskatchewan Roughriders at his favorite diner “Friends” with Cathy, Rita and Don. His last trip to Mazatlan was especially memorable with four siblings enjoying their time together.

 

The funeral will be held on Friday, September 27th, 2024, at 2:00 pm at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Saskatoon, SK.
