Anne Elizabeth Panser
November 1st, 1926, to August 12th, 2023
Born on the family farm south of Mortlach and raised with her brothers and sister. She was the youngest of 4 children born to Charlies and Florence Redshaw. She moved to Moose Jaw and attended business school and worked at various places in Moose Jaw. She married Robert Shirley, and they owned the Hobbie Shop in Moose Jaw. Her first Husband passed away in a glider accident. She moved to California in 1958 and pursued a career with Electro Music, the company made Leslie speakers for organs throughout the world. Anne later married Robert Panser in 1967 and they lived in San Gabriel California. She lost he second husband Robert Panser in 1985. She was a member of the PEO (Philanthropic Educational Organization) and after her retirement, volunteered at their Daz-E Shop, taking, sorting and selling donated goods. She later became partners with Dale Perry who was widowed, and they spent almost 25 years together. Both of Dales Children, Dee Dee and Bob treated her like a part of their families. Anne and Dale looked after each other and they travelled and did everything together. They had many good friends, were very active, and attending church, and Silver Slippers at the local Gym in Arcadia California. They also attended the senior centre, for lunches and activities.
A couple of years before there passing, Dale and Anne decided it was time to move from their homes to an independent living facility in Fountain Valley to be closer to Dales family who lived in the Area.
One thing we always looked forward to, was the yearly visits to Canada to see all the family here. Unfortunately, both Dale and Anne stopped traveling in the past few years, because travel became too difficult for them.
Pre-deceased by both her parents, two husbands and Dale Perry, brothers Art Redshaw (Patricia), Ralph Redshaw (Goldie) Sister Doris Hall (W. Eric) she leaves to morn five nieces and one nephew, numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews and one Godson, as well as her very good friends living in numerous places throughout the States. She was truly loved by so many.
A private family memorial to honour and celebrate her life was held on June 29th, 2024.
