High River's 18th annual food drive brought in a record amount of food this year.
The event hosted by the High River Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints again filled the streets with volunteers on Saturday.
The group put out grocery bags last week and collected all the non-perishable food donations over the weekend.
12,693 pounds of food was brought in with more still coming into the Salvation Army Food Bank.
Last year 12,616 pounds were brought in. You can still drop off donations at any of the three High River grocery stores or just go directly to the Salvation Army.
This year a $50 cheque was also dropped off.
