Joanne Marie Theresa Bresciani, late of Weyburn, SK passed away peacefully in her sleep with family by her side on September 20, 2024 at the age of 69 years at the Grey Nuns Community Hospital, Edmonton, AB. A Viewing will be held on Monday, September 30, 2024 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at RD Family Funeral Chapel Weyburn, SK. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weyburn, SK with celebrant Fr. Valentine Amobi. Luncheon will follow at the McKenna Hall, 317 – 3rd Street, Weyburn, SK. Interment will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. from Regina Memorial Gardens, Regina, SK. Honorary Pallbearers will be all Joanne’s grandchildren and hockey and football sons. In lieu of flowers, for family and friends so wishing, donations will go towards initiatives aimed at reducing abuse towards sporting officials in Saskatchewan.
