A bridge in Foothills County will be replaced, causing a road to be closed for over a month.
The Foothills Public Works Department will be closing 64 Street West between 226th Ave West and 242 Ave so a bridge can be replaced.
The road closure will occur from September 30 to November 15, but there will be detours in place and there will be local access-only signs posted where needed.
Foothills County is asking people to use 226 Ave West, 80 St West, and 242 Ave West as alternative routes.
"We apologize for any inconvenience this will cause and will update as required if any further delays are incurred," the County stated in a media release from September 26. "Thank you for your understanding."
Any questions or concerns can be sent to the Foothills County Public Works Department at 403-652-2390.
