Fall has arrived, and with it comes the return of Fowl Suppers across southern Saskatchewan! These long-standing community gatherings are a highlight of the season, offering a chance for friends, family, and neighbours to come together and enjoy a traditional meal. Whether it’s a savoury roast turkey, homemade stuffing, or sweet pies, the dishes served at these events capture the heart and soul of rural hospitality. Fowl Suppers are more than just meals; they’re an opportunity to connect with the community and celebrate the harvest season.
In and around Weyburn, several Fowl Suppers are already lined up, and we’ve made a list below to help you find one close to you. Whether you’re new to the tradition or it’s a yearly staple in your calendar, these suppers are a fantastic way to spend an evening with great food and even better company. Don’t miss out on the chance to enjoy a meal prepared by local volunteers who keep this wonderful tradition alive.
If we’ve missed any Fowl Suppers happening in the area, we’d love your help in keeping the community informed. You can easily add any additional events to our calendar by clicking here.
