RCMP in Thompson are searching for a 21-year-old man following reports of gunshots at two separate locations.
The first call came in around 7 p.m. on Saturday. Officers say they received a call of shots fired outside a home on Duke Place in Thompson, Man.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a bullet hole through a window. The lone occupant of the residence was not injured.
Witnesses let officers know they had seen a man running from the area, so police began a search for the suspect.
About 50 minutes later, around 7:50 p.m., a second report of gunshots came in.
Officers attended tothe area of Brandon Crescent and began searching for the suspect.
Thompson RCMP believe these two shootings were targeted, and are linked to an on-going investigation involving 21-year-old Tyrell Porter who is wanted for multiple firearms offences from a previous shooting.
Thompson RCMP say Porter may still be in the Thompson area. He is considered armed and dangerous. RCMP are asking residents not to approach him.
