Update: The Town of High River has fixed their water treatment facility

The Town of High River was asking all residents to conserve water earlier today, effective immediately.

It was due to an issue with the town's water treatment plant.

Town staff worked on solutions to remedy the situation.

The Town took to Facebook at just after 3 p.m. to let everyone know the issue has been resolved, and people are able to return to normal water usage.

While they were dealing with issue at the water treatment plant, the Aldersyde Bulk Fill station was closed, and residents of Cayley and Aldersyde were asked to conserve water.
