Women seeking hope will gather in Winnipeg this month to experience the transformative power of God.

"This is an annual conference that we put together in Manitoba", says EbunOluwa Aiku, the founder of The Wrinkle Free Woman Ministry. "This is our sixth year. About seven years ago the Lord gave me this vision to reach out to women."

The idea of being without blemishes or wrinkles was overwhelming to Aiku, until she realized something important.

"The Lord told me He was able to take out the wrinkles in my life. The idea is to reach out to women who feel hopeless. Who may feel like there's nothing here in the world. It's not only about talking to people about the love of God but also reaching out to help them."

The theme for this year's conference on October 26 at the Viscount Gort Hotel is 'The Destiny-Defining Feast.'

"This year the Lord is going to rewrite the destinies of people. If you look at the Book of Esther, she wasn't even in the picture when the king threw a big feast, and that defined her destiny because someone made a mistake and God promoted Esther. I believe God is putting together a feast, and I'm just a messenger."

Guest speaker and author Wilma Derksen will speak during the event, as will Aiku.

"Coming together, meeting fellow women-in-Christ, sharing testimonies, knowing more about the love of Jesus, restoring hope, and transforming lives, that's what it's all about."

While the conference is free to any woman over the age of 18, Aiku asks that ladies register so that there will be enough food for all.
