On farms and ranches all over the prairies fall work is in full swing in preparation for the winter months ahead, and the Manitoba Ag Days Board and committee members are in full swing making plans for the 48th annual Ag Days taking place at the Keystone Centre in Brandon, January 21-23, 2025.
'For three days the Keystone Centre in Brandon Manitoba is the home to Canada’s largest indoor farm show. Over 550 exhibitors will showcase the newest thinking, products and technology specifically for prairie farmers. There is also a complimentary speaking program running in two theatres over all three days. Farmers and industry experts are ready to talk about markets, agronomy, equipment and livestock,' states Media Coordinator, Teresa Hildebrand.
The Produced on the Prairies theme was a huge success this past January and it will be back for the 2025 show. The Board of Directors is proud of the people, products and technologies that are produced locally. “We really want to continue to shine a light on the great things happening right here.” commented Board Co-Chair Dustin Williams.
Manitoba Ag Days Gives Back is into its second decade of supporting community grants and K-12 and post-secondary agricultural education, says Hildebrand. "Ag Days Gives Back tries to support the communities that our exhibitors and patrons come from by awarding $2,000 grants," she explains.
Applications for these $2000 grants and scholarships will be accepted until November 1, 2024 and winners will be announced at the show in January. Applications for Ag Day Gives Back grants and scholarships are open now and can be found HERE!

Another show favourite that will be returning is the Innovation Showcase, which features 32 must-see products and services that are new to the agriculture industry. "It's fascinating when you think of how this profession of the Ag Industry has been around for a long time and continues to innovate in lots of different ways. Like it's the seed genetics all the way to the physical equipment," states Hildebrand. "It's really neat to see!"
This Showcase allows farmers and ranchers to ask specific questions and see product quality firsthand. Agriculture is an ever-changing industry and Manitoba Ag Days’ knows that producers want to be informed about how to keep their operations nimble and adaptable.
Of course, the 2025 show will have a number of new features as well, adds Hildebrand. "The speaker line-up will be out late October, beginning of November, and then after that will be the Innovation Showcase.
