Okotoks road closed for two weeks during utility work

Some planned utility work will shut down an Okotoks road for a couple of weeks.

Avens Way between Larkspur Bend and D'Arcy Ranch Drive is expected to be closed while crews complete the deep utility work.

The closure will be in place between October 7 and 21, as long as the weather allows crews to work.

This work is being completed on behalf of the developer, and the road is expected to be fully closed to traffic.

There will be signage in place, but the Town is reminding everyone to keep an eye out for equipment and to use caution near the construction site.
