It's a jam-packed schedule for Local Sports Live beginning on Friday through the weekend on Country 94.1.

The winless Notre Dame Hounds will travel to Gull Lake to face the winless Lions as both teams claw to keep their nine-man football playoff hopes alive.

Gull Lake is coming off a 70-13 loss to the Shaunavon Shadows in week 3 of Conference 2 action, while Notre Dame was run over by the Lumsden Devils 70-0.

"We're telling them the season is in our hands these next two games," Lions assistant coach Neal Boutin said. "We haven't the greatest start to the season like we'd have liked. We knew we'd be in tough the last couple of weeks against Lumsden and Shaunavon, both very strong teams... We really have to bring it on Friday to make sure that we have our best game of the season."

The Lions have battled injuries the last few weeks but Boutin expects the team to be the healthiest they've been since week 1 against Maple Creek.

Country 94.1 will have all the action beginning at 3:50 p.m.

Football action continues with Local Sports Live on Saturday as the Swift Current Comp. Colts look to take down the top-ranked Greenall Griffins.

Swift Current is coming off a 41-16 loss to Weyburn on September 28. The Griffins beat Moose Jaw Central the same day 48-21 to improve to 4-0.

Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. with the broadcast beginning at 12:50 p.m. from Colts Field.

And the third game in three days, sees Country 94.1's Local Sports Live move inside the S3 West Arena for female hockey action on Sunday.

Former Swift Current Broncos play-by-play broadcaster Shawn Mullin will make his season debut on Local Sports Live as he'll be on the call for the Swift Current Innovation Credit Union U18 AAA Female Wildcats game against the Saskatoon Stars.

The Wildcats enter the weekend at 1-1 on the season while the Stars are 2-0. The pair of teams will play Saturday night before Sunday's rematch.

Country 94.1's broadcast starts at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
