Cochrane Comedy Fest - Friday and Saturday, October 4th & 5th

Comedy comes to Cochrane. it's the 1st annual Cochrane Comedy Fest at various venues. Tonight there is a Newfoundland-style kitchen party at The Legion hosted by Lisa Baker. Tomorrow, Ryan Belleville (CBC's Working Moms) headlines a stand-up show at the Lions Event Centre.

Fall Book Sale - Saturday and Sunday, October 5th and 6th

Looking for a new book to read? The Fall Book Sale is on at the Cochrane & Area Humane Society from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Kiss the Cod Fish Fry - Saturday, October 5th

Tickets are $50 for tomorrow's event at the Cochrane Legion. There will be live music by Atlantic Storm Band.

Wild Enrichment Saturdays at Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary - Saturday, October 5th

October marks the arrival of Fall and spooky season, and Yamnuksa Wolfdog Sanctuary is embracing the spirit of the season with some entertaining activities. They are crafting scarecrows for the wolfdogs, filled with an assortment of treats and scents for them to investigate.
