Maintenance work on southbound Deerfoot Trail that's been posing major delays for commuters will continue into the weekend.
Crews have been working on the Bow River Bridge just south of Seton for several days, narrowing the highway to just a single lane on the bridge.
It's made for lengthy wait times for southbound commuters, especially given that the closures have remained in place 24 hours a day.
According to 511 Alberta, the work is expected to last through to Sunday (Oct. 6).
