Open house at Humboldt Fire Hall tonight

This week has been recognized as Fire Prevention Week. 

The Humboldt Fire Department will be taking part in an open house at the Humboldt Fire Hall this evening from 5-8 pm.  

Fire Chief Mike Kwasnica says it’s perfect time for the community to get a glimpse at what’s going on with the Fire Department.  

“We like to open up our firehall, and let the public come in and take a look what we do, how we operate and some of the equipment that we do use.”  

Along with the open house, the fire department will be holding a barbecue with burgers and pop for sale.  

The theme for this year’s Fire Prevention Week is smoke alarms, make them work for you.
