The Winnipeg Police Service says that a missing 11-year-old has been safely located.
The girl was last seen on September 26, 2024, at 8:44 p.m. near Edderton Avenue and Derek Street in Winnipeg, Manitoba and has not been heard from or seen since.
The WPS said that she is known to frequent the North End and the area of The Bay in Downtown Winnipeg.
Police had sent out a missing persons notice at the end of September and then sent out a second notice on Monday, Oct. 7, saying she had still not been found.
On Tuesday, Oct. 8, they sent out another release saying she had been safely located.
