The Town of Okotoks will be hosting their Mini Monster Mash event again this year.
It's a free event and will be held in the gymnasium and lobby at the Okotoks Recreation Centre.
"The gym will be set up with play stuff, like the bouncy castle, there'll be a climbing structure, there'll be basketballs, there'll be scoops, beanbags, all kinds of fun stuff to play with," explains Assistant Programmer with the Town of Okotoks Patty Vanwinkle. "And then the lobby will be set up with different stations."
There will be a cookie decorating table, crafts, and a photo booth.
This event is aimed at preschool-aged children, but unfortunately, they won't have candy to give out to the kids.
"We just don't know who's got a nut allergy or who has a whatever type of allergy, so we won't be providing candy this year, but they are welcome to come and have lots of playtime, colouring and all that kind of fun stuff to do."
They will be providing sugar cookies with icing, though, so if any kid wants to snag one, they can.
The Town is prepared for 120 kids to show up.
No registration is required to attend this event, which runs from 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Monday, October 28.
It is a free event, but the Town is hoping that people show up in their Halloween costumes.
