Rachel G. Williams, beloved wife of the late Cliff Williams, was born on October 31, 1925, and passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at Saint Teresa Place at the age of 98, one month short of turning 99. Rachel was the loving mother of son, Bob Williams; daughter, Susan Williams; son-in-law, Rick Barrett, all residing in the City of Calgary; three grandchildren, Joe, Robert and Corrina as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Rachel was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Susanna Nickel (parents); siblings, Mary, Tina, Elizabeth, Peter, Henry, George, Henrietta, Helen, Susie and Margaret as well her husband, Clifford (2010). Rachel was born in Herbert, SK, 20 minutes east of Swift Current and was raised in a Mennonite community and completed high school there. She eventually moved to Calgary in the late 1940’s to get married and work in a moving and cartage business plus raise their family.
