Girls soccer teams of the Cochrane and Bow Valley High are involved in two separate quarterfinal games of the Rocky View league today.
The Cochrane Cobras finished fourth overall and host the fifth-place W. H. Croxford Cavaliers on the Ranger Field.
The Bobcats were sixth and travel to Airdrie to face the third-place Goerge McDougall Mustangs.
The winners advance to the semifinals on Oct. 15 against the Springbank Phoenix and the Bert Church Chargers.
The Cobras had a 2-3 record in the regular season and the Bobcats went winless.
The undefeated Phoenix head into playoffs as the favourites to win it all.
