The Foothills Bantam Eagles head into Saturday morning's tilt with a 5-2 record on the regular season when they take on the winless Calgary Mavericks at Shouldice Artificial Turf Hellard at 10:30.

The Eagles enter Saturday's game with a four-game win streak and have outscored their opponents 182-14 during those four games. Foothills won their last game on Saturday (Oct. 5) with a dominant 36-0 performance. For the regular season as a whole, the Eagles have outscored their opponents 282-121.

The Mavericks on the other hand had a bye week this past weekend and were downed 52-0 by the Bantam Stampeders on September 28 which was the last time they hit the field. The Mavericks have been shut out in their past two games and have only accumulated eight points in six games played.

Currently, the Eagles are in third place behind the two unbeaten teams, the Colts and the Stampeders. With a win, the Eagles can cement their place in the Tier 1 playoffs which would be the first time in history for the Foothills Eagles.
